Gradually began the process of transformation — logbook Toyota Corolla Levin 1997

While the engine was sorted out on a typewriter, it was decided how to change the headlights. Relatives were chrome, but I wanted black.
How to disassemble?
It's very simple, you take an industrial hair dryer, and gradually heating the headlight, you tear off (in the truest sense of the word) the glass from the headlight housing!
There is an opinion that if you pour a solvent into the headlight, it will corrode the sealant - this is a FALSE OPINION! From this, only the headlight deteriorates (verified by personal experience) :(.

So:
we opened the headlight,
painted it,
polished the whole one,
polished the damaged one with a solvent (as best I could),
proceed to assembly :)
