Washed down the heads + - Toyota Chaser, 2.5 liter, 1997
One fine evening I decided to change the head gasket. He took off his head and was stunned by the state of the engines (ideal and this is at 140,000 mileage, no soot, no wear. The Japs have risen in my eyes to the skies. But we must pay tribute to the last 2 years only Motul was poured into the stuff (I recommend)).
Well, I think since I took off my head, I need to grind the valves and valve stem seals. I took everything apart, here God himself ordered to cut down the head (inlet, outlet and chambers). This process took almost all night, but it does not matter because the effect is really noticeable (the better the engine breathes, the more horses).
I made a head, looked at the block and removed it. Already after 1.5 hours it was dismantled. Same condition as the heads. But just in case, the fireman decided to change all the APR racing liners.
Collected everything and put the stuff back. At the same time changed the pump all the belts and rollers.
But this winter to collect to make a swap of 2jz-gte.
Sorry, no photo yet, but I will document the swap.
If you have spare parts and a box with a tool, everything turns out pretty quickly.
Somehow everything turns out so easily for you - I took off the head, changed the liners, etc.-master)
And the engine is credited!) Tomorrow I have 5 today already))
Now I will put 2jz, and I will stick the first one in another car (while in the project)).
