Deciphering the auction sheet — Toyota MR-S, 1.8 liter, 2003

    Toyota MR-S 18 2003

Since I had an auction sheet on hand, I decided for the sake of interest to find out what is indicated in it (in addition to data such as grade, mileage, etc., which do not need to be translated). I don't speak Japanese, so I decided to look online.
There were several options: the first was to independently compare the hieroglyphs from the auction list with the hieroglyphs on the Web page, something like the game “Find 10 differences”. They say that some people succeed, but not me, so after several unsuccessful attempts I decided to look for a translation in a different way.
The second option is to send a scan of the list by e-mail to people who speak Japanese and receive from them a complete translation of the auction list in the Great and Mighty. Two sites were found (one - infotrans.info, the link to the second one was not preserved, only the e-mail remained: [email protected]), to the email addresses of which the scan of the auctioneer was sent, and the very next day I had two translation options. Both are given a little lower, looking ahead, I will write that they almost coincided, the difference is only in small things. There is nothing special to comment on the general part, it is more interesting to figure out what is missing from tuning, and what, on the contrary, is installed on the car, but is not in the list.
In place - a hardtop (removable plastic roof), TRD exhaust, xenon, carbon spoiler.
It lacks Work Emotion CR White 16-inch wheels (probably the former owner attached it somewhere :-) and a stock exhaust.
From what is not indicated in the sheet - razminuska, Cusco struts front / rear and roll bar TRD. However, it is possible that the last goodies were already installed in Novosibirsk. Indirectly, this is indicated by how carelessly holes were cut in the plastic around the mounting of the roll bar to the body. A samurai would have made himself hara-kiri for such work :-).
Also, the previous owner painted the stock wheels in body color (it turned out beautifully) and mounted excellent Yokohama S-drive summer tires with a dimension of 195/55 R15 in front and 205/50 R16 in the rear (from the factory, post-styling went to Bridgestone with a dimension of 185/55 R15 in front and 215 /45 R16 rear).
This is how the car came to me. As for plans for the near future, for now I want to bring the car into perfect technical condition, and then slowly start tuning.

In the next BZ entry: maintenance.

In general, the condition is solid 4 (out of 5). Unfortunately, the previous owner did not escape the accident, but, fortunately, its consequences did not affect the geometry of the body.
It's good that consumables changed on time. The rest of the details will be in the next BZ entry.

Well, it seems like in fairness everything turned out … I think I’m satisfied with the state in which it got

plans have been like this for a long time =) I tried for two months to pull out a boo from the auction but it didn’t grow together, I endured it and took the pads … and if I turned up I put it cheaply, I don’t see anything complicated. There are qualified people in Krasnoyarsk! In Japan, they removed 150hp from a fielder with minor modifications of the kmcon ... and this is not the limit, apparently

I have 140 hp in the TCP. Indeed, in different models / modifications, 1ZZ has different settings. And Camcon is really an interesting thing. Any plans to deliver?

well, there are more horses =) like a Selick 145 ... that's where 10 squeezed out =) I think the setting, so I always wanted to put Camcon

Differences from the "normal" 1ZZ are minimal. Photos of the underhood will definitely be.
