Installed a gearbox with a lock - Toyota Corona, 2.0 liter, 1984

Well, the period of stagnation has passed! Apparently he was very exhausted mentally, but heaped up all sorts of personal problems, that it wasn’t just up to the car ...
A parcel came from Japan, finally I waited for the gearbox with a lock! I was surprised by its size - for an independent suspension, the gearbox is larger.
I immediately bought bearings on the axle shaft and soloists! I didn’t think about the gearbox itself - I had to fly to the store to buy more!
The retaining ring was cut off with a grinder, the old bearing itself fell out. I found a pipe under the axle shaft, a new bearing was pressed in quickly. The problems started with the retaining rings - I heated it with gas, dressed calmly, but when everything cooled down, the ring
was removed by hand! too, does not go and that's it!
got to the gearbox. I carefully removed the cone bearings from the old one with a puller, pressed one onto the new gearbox and ... this damn bearing fell apart! I mean, the balls fell out! I removed the bearing for half an hour - for some reason the puller did not catch on, I went for new ones, bought an oil seal, I managed to close it.
I carefully pressed in new bearings, installed the gearbox in the housing, adjusted the gaps in the gears, tightened everything tighter.
I began to think what to do with the retaining rings (I found out that they didn’t clamp after a trip to the store) I
consulted with friends, they offered to take new ones and press them in, I already wanted to go, I heated it up, planted it and cooled it with water, it seemed to work out.
I assembled everything in reverse order, poured oil into the bridge and drove home!
A couple of days around the city and noticed that the rear brake disc touches the caliper mount. Dismantled, the retaining ring stopped holding and the axle shaft began to go out! Problem!
I went with a friend to an already well-known store, bought a couple of rings. In the garage, removed the axle shaft, the ring just dangled on it! slightly heated the ring, planted it, waited until it cools down, it seemed to work! Along the way, they made a mandrel from the old bearing for the stuffing box and changed it too.
Mugs in front of the house in a drift - the gearbox works, nothing rubs and does not run! Hooray!

More about the car:
When leaving the gas station on the turn cut off the bolts of the rack to the pivot pin! As a result, the upper cup of the rack was torn out, the wing was jammed with a wheel. (((((((
As a result, I put the racks of the Kemerovo crown, I bought cartridges from RAV4 under the park - it became harder and better. I did not find a new cup, I also put the old one in.
The left stance was after a good hit, the collapse is far in the plus and now I'm looking for a left native stance! Well, the problems in the electrics have not yet been settled ...
