16. Bulkhead rear brakes. GTZ thrust. And his mother is so oil cooler 3 :(( - logbook Toyota Sprinter Trueno, 1998
I decided to sort out the rear calipers, because I think no one has done this since the car left the assembly line. Repair kit was bought and away we go.
There is nothing complicated, everything is like in the front ones, only with the difference that the piston is not squeezed out, but unscrewed during parsing.
There was a lot of shit under the rubber bands - everything was cleaned and smeared, the anthers were replaced, the only thing I decided not to disassemble was the hand brake system itself - a special key is needed there. Under the guise of the calipers themselves washed and painted red.
Having made many stops on the GTZ, somehow I completely forgot about myself and went with the very first trial version. Since the ABS was removed and its tubes did not interfere, I made an emphasis on myself without a cutout and without tubes.
After the story with the cooler, I decided to change the fittings to fittings with an inner diameter of 12 (for safety reasons), like on adapters, I put the adapters on brass washers and sealant, but a more flexible hose was bought for the fittings, and for ease of assembly and disassembly I bought a t- bolt clamps, and not pressed in like the last time - which I later regretted - having once again seen a dirty engine compartment and 0 oil on the dipstick.
In short, the whole system was removed - I will install it next year - by pressing the hoses (it's already getting cold here)
I have such a

My emphasis is in a single copy, you have an emphasis for the abs version - it really rises current-current because of the tubes, there is a special cutout for them in the emphasis. During installation, it was possible to unscrew the nearest fixings of the ABS pipes, set the stop, and then screw the fixings back
