Radiator - Toyota Corolla, 1.3L, 1998

Radiator - Toyota Corolla 13L 1998

The day before yesterday I installed a new cooling radiator (non-original - Nissens). The new radiator is more massive than the old one (as I understood the new one from the 1.6 model). Installed without problems by rearranging the lower left support of the radiator, everything else is as usual. The temperature arrow now does not jump as it used to, but looks stably at one quarter. Filled in a new antifreeze, and, at the same time, made a diagnosis of the suspension. Joyfully))))

And what happened to the old one?

I don’t know what it’s called correctly, about the "honeycomb" of the old radiator was strongly deformed, as a result of which it could not cope with its direct duty - to cool. Therefore, the temperature line at times turned out to be in the red zone, which is not very good for a car, and very annoying. But I don't know why they were deformed, since I have been driving this car for only half a year.

Everything so dusty, rusty and brand new radiator looks cool :)
I myself am also thinking of changing the radiator, but I have another problem, the carlson has been working for too long, there is a suspicion that it is dirty inside.

I used to have it spinning all the time, too. the air did not pass through the old radiator normally, and because of this, the arrow was floating ... And now everything is fine ...
