Rear shelf for speakers — logbook Toyota Carib 1990
After purchasing this car, I was not very satisfied with the sound quality (front-standard 10 W under the dashboard, rear-two Helix speakers in the rear doors). After the death of my kamryukha, excellent speakers remained ("ovals" Wink JBL GTO 300 W-peak, 100 W-nominal, give out excellent bass. In general, I bought plywood 15 * 1525 * 1525 one sheet in a good grade, cut out a shelf in the trunk, installed speakers, I laid acoustic wires... but there were no basses required. strong glue, so that the screws can be removed later. And lo and behold, now I have excellent bass quality in the car.Yes, I had to reduce the trunk a little, but it's worth it. My "project" is not finished yet, in the future refinement of the sound in front, well, ennoble the rear shelf with speakers.
it was possible just on self-tapping screws ... and go through the sealant inside.)))
And I made it myself, I took a chipboard (one sash from the slate) measured the dimensions and sawed it out, trimmed it with a cartpet and now it’s beauty, if you want, I can post a photo)
Now the slate has no door)) does the wife know where the door has gone? In fact, I just have access to the tool and material, so I didn’t have to cut the doors, but I probably would have made the same from the material at hand.
but I did it easier, I took my native bordachki on the sides in the trunk (t, I don’t use them), I cut out a place for the speakers, fixed the whole thing in place and you’re done
