He did what no one else did! Gilding! — Toyota Altezza, 2.0 liter, 1998
So I decided to somehow stand out, and I found something to do from idleness, namely all sorts of frauds with pads. Those who remember, at first they were red, then something completely different came to mind … repainting in black, and in order to emphasize the significance of the car for me, it was decided to put the name on the pads! and gold paint! I think it turned out well (I did it for the first time in my life and there were a lot of letters, and intricate ones ...).
You can see the process in a personal blog, and now I'm posting the result! Evaluate, poke, comment!
I did the same with my Lexus. I'll post it later + the process itself to help others!
No, you are the master!
Nice work, listen! Such an exclusive!
By the way, I wanted to do the same for myself, only paint the pads in gold, and make the inscriptions black ... But I didn’t have time ...
possible, but not necessary. It must be strict and combative at the same time! and so, painfully screaming. And about the nickname, it will be on the trunk lid with vinyl.
it was necessary on the one hand altezza, and on the other hand. and on the rear pads the number of the body and engine
Is the paint heat resistant? otherwise, at the first serious annealing, everything will simply crumble.
Looks quite normal.
what kind of paint did you paint the calipers with, it means that the calipers get very hot and if you paint with ordinary paint, it will peel off soon, is this true or not? which paint manufacturer?
