Wheel painting - Toyota Corolla Fielder, 2005
I tried to paint the disc in gloss black and red edging, not very pleased.
First, I sanded all the old paint on the shelf and spokes, it took 2 days for 4 wheels. then we primed the layer for three, rubbed it with 320 rub. Degreased, And with black glossy paint from the balloon, too, three layers. When dry, I sealed everything except the edging, walked 120 times, degreased it and blew it with red paint. Then repainted again in silver because. the size seemed very small) When the blacks were 4 days in a row they tried to wash off the paint, there was not even a hint of flying around.
tell me how you painted please, I’m thinking of painting my own wheels for the winter too. I’m thinking about painting with rubber or not. I at least to last the winter))

I took a black gloss motip and a gray primer, also a motip. I took some strange red one, dried for 2 days, and raising the temperature to 70 degrees did not create any effect for faster drying
Took off everything. and in gray doused again. Of course, black ones are beautiful, but only dirt gets on them and everything becomes so scary, and the size was lost right away
I saw you today at the Baikal ... the skating rinks were gray! erased everything? or what?))
yes, it really looks silly! I also had a lot of ideas for painting, and in the end I realized that it’s better not to touch it!
