Replacement of sleeves - Toyota Caldina, 1.8 liter, 1998

There was a leak in the pipes from the radiator, that is, the coolant began to pour out through cracks in the hose. Cracks appeared from time and from the fact that the sleeve was located too close to the outlet (high temperatures).

Bought:
* reinforced hose (it seems to be 16mm)
* asbestos fabric
* fiberglass
* flushing of the Hi-Gear cooling system
* antifreeze (concentrate) Castrol 3l (3pcs)
* tightening clamps
* distilled water 6l

Just in case, using a lighter, I checked whether these fabrics really did not burn. yes they don't burn :)

From the previous owner got a domestic coolant preheater. He says that from VAZ 2109
This heater interrupts the sleeve. See diagram:

It is marked with a green marker. Sleeve is red.

I think it is obvious to everyone that all operations are performed on a cold engine.

Drained the coolant from the radiator (a plastic screw on the side of the engine compartment).
drained about 2 liters
It was not possible to drain the coolant from the engine, because a heater is now installed in the place where the drain cock should have been.

Took the clamps off. Throw away the old cracked pipes.
Drained some more coolant.

Dangling the car from side to side, we managed to drain about a glass from the radiator, but this is already prank)

Got new sleeves.
Here it is worth noting 2 points: 1. the
hoses were wrapped first in azb. fabric, and then also in fiberglass
2. retreated as far as possible from the outlet

Gathered everything, tightened the clamps.

I poured the rinse strictly in accordance with the instructions on the can itself.

Pour in fresh coolant. Concentration 1:1 (castrol-distilled water) Approximately 4 liters entered. The idea was to enter 5. Apparently, not everything was able to merge.

Everything is fine!

ps Who knows why the BE is squeezing out the liquid from the coolant tank all the time? In the first photo, you can see streaks next to the cork. It does not depend on the weather and driving style (I established it empirically).
