Fuel filter. — Toyota Will VS, 1.8 liter, 2001
changed the fuel filter today.
I found two problems
1. the tube with a nozzle was broken (I solved the problem with the help of superglue and a thermal gun)
2. the cover fastening bolt was broken (drilled, put a new one)
and there are no problems, everything was done quickly within 30 minutes.
the old one was black, even through the plastic case blackness was visible) ) ) )
you unscrew the idle valve body from the throttle valve, and there is a gasket between them. The gasket isolates the valve air passage from the antifreeze passage
I will change in whatever state it is, it will not be worse for sure.
I’ll still clean the throttle. There, too, I’ll change the gasket on the idle valve.
I was also going to change, but I’m still buying and changing all the rubber bands on the filter and pump, as well as the coarse filter-mesh
