Rally sprint Sosnovy Bor — Toyota MR2, 2.0 liter, 1997

So, a mini report about the sprint in Sosnovy Bor.
Traditionally, competitions in this small town gather many participants and many spectators. For Sosnovy Bor, this is a small car holiday, so in anticipation of an interesting event, it is absolutely not annoying to drive more than 100 kilometers.
This time again, the participants were expected by an interesting track, weather surprises, although expected, excellent organization and prizes for the winners :)
The competitions themselves were not very successful for me. The first attempt failed - in one place, out of habit, from the spring sprint, I almost turned in the other direction and lost a couple of precious seconds on this. The remaining two attempts were made in the rain, which brought intrigue and additional interest from driving on wet asphalt.
In terms of the result, of course, it was bad for me - a mistake in the "dry" attempt removed all chances of fighting for prizes in the absolute. And in terms of an interesting race, especially after a hot July, it’s very good - we haven’t driven in the wet for a long time :)
The result is first place in the class, seventh overall, good mood, prizes and a lot of great photos :)
