Brake upgrade - logbook Toyota Celica 1992

Selick got me with "no" brakes, so I immediately decided to update the torm. discs and pads.
Front example:

I wanted to order DBA, but the dealer said that they are not available for mine. In the catalog, I nevertheless found the model I needed, as it seemed, and at a discount - 25 au$ for the front and 250 au$ for the rear. Prices for 1 piece. A 90% discount meant that the model was discontinued and that it was highly likely that I would not receive it.
Ordered from the catalog in Existe. About 3.5 rubles per piece with a diameter of 278mm. front and 280mm rear.
But they didn’t fit — I ended up with 255mm front and 260mm rear.
Well, I began to think that I had brakes from the atmospheric version and re-ordered the disks from it (1200 rubles / pc.). Subsequently, it turned out that there are differences from the atmosphere - in the thickness of the disk and the number of pistons: GT-handicap 2-piston calipers and a 25mm disk, the atmosphere has 1 piston and a 22mm disk! And believe me, there is a difference.
the front ones came up (hooray!, the car began to slow down):

the rear ones came up, but not quite: outwardly it seems to be normal

but actually torm. the disk rested against the caliper mount. It turned out that the rear brake. the wheels of my GT-handicap are unique, there are no analogues. Ordered (3000 rubles, 2 weeks).
There are 2 options in the photo. disks: the difference is ONLY 5mm. hat height

With the rear brakes, I had another embarrassment: removing the brake. disks found drums on the handbrake - I heard about this, but I didn’t come across it “live”

After replacing the rear (!) Torm. discs the car began to slow down on a solid four. Strange of course - in theory, the rear brakes account for 10% of the brakes. strength, but it really got better! I thought that maybe 4 pistons are not needed ?!

in conclusion, a joke I noticed on the road:
I’m standing in a traffic jam, suddenly I see the window of the X5 goes down and a charming girl is trying to adjust SUCH a side rear-view mirror:

separate "drums on the handbrake" - an unusual solution :)

I had drums on the handbrake on my Mercedes from the back, the pads are too much for their purpose

Yes, the owners of x5 right now have a problem with mirrors, they steal like washer covers on Mazdas.
