Tires, winter and summer - Toyota Vitz, 1.0 liter, 2003
The winter car came from Japan Brigestone Blizzak MZ03 155/80/13 , and for the summer I bought the Russian Michelin Energy E3B 175/70/13.
I thought about the dimensions for a long time, the width of 155 is practically never found, and even more so the height of 80, it turned out to be the most suitable analogue of 175/70/13, the standard size for the VAZ classics, I still remember from my father's car www.drive2.ru/cars/lada/2101/2101 /antonnot/ that there tires were 165, but now they put only 175 or even 185.
It is strange that the width of Michelin is visually narrower than Bridgestone.
Completely satisfied with Michelin, very comfortable and soft tires, an order of magnitude nicer than Bridgestone, but this is understandable, winter tires are always oak.
Spare parts HEADER KEY 1558013 FordWell, Witzik is now taller on them. And we drive up to the bardyurka close and do not cling to the bumper. To be honest, I didn’t really look at the size :)
They say that if you set it to 15, with our liter engine, it will accelerate worse and drive slower, that is, the maximum speed will not exceed 120 km / h. Although I don’t know, they told me the same thing about the R14, although I have it 130 without straining. More scary to overclock :)
There was a desire to bet on 15, these are from RS upload.wikimedia.org/wiki…oyota_Vitz_RS_(NCP13).jpg
And how has the cross-country ability changed, because the overall diameter of the wheel has not changed, I hope?
and R14 had no desire to deliver?
I bought a car, there were TOYO R13, the tires were really bad and the wheels were crooked, I had to urgently look for new tires to get there for the season (because they gave me the winter one with a car), so, I found R14, they installed it, now Vitzulya I like Gip climbing the curbs :)
Well, not by an order of magnitude, but 2 times for sure.
Yes, because of the pattern, they seem wider, but at the same time, Bridgestone is already 20 millimeters in numbers and still looks wider.
I think for different brands, nevertheless, the real sizes can differ quite a lot from the declared ones, so remember the first tires on these disks s2.images.drive2.ru/car.p…8ccf097be986c2c-large.jpg There were Dunlop and BFGoodrich with the same sizes 50/15, but I remember that some of them were noticeably lower.
