Search and purchase — Toyota Corsa, 1.5 liter, 1990

    Toyota Corsa 15 1990

Somehow I decided to change the pads on the tercel, came across an ad for the sale of good pads for little money, called, made an appointment. The seller (Artem) drove up on his Corolla-2 (you can look here: www.drive2.ru/cars/toyota...i/corolla_ii_41/artem050/ ), I saw this car and wanted the same one ... I
posted an ad about buying a car in the blind body EL-31, and a couple of weeks later a man called with an offer to see his corsa. Inspection naturally took place, and after some deliberation and bargaining, I bought it. Although the car could move on its own, it was with difficulty - the hum of the wheel bearing, the tie rods killed in the trash - the steering wheel chatted like on a Truman, from the silent blocks of the front levers - only memories, the brakes from the aspirated, there are also a lot of jambs on the body.
The next day I drove the car to the garage - 25 km along the bypass road - that’s another show ... The car floated along the highway by itself from one lane to another, only managed to catch it, didn’t dare to accelerate more than a hundred, but that was enough to understand that the repair to be serious and lengthy. It was originally planned to put 4E-FTE in it, but the native engine, although it was covered in oil and other filth, worked quite smoothly, and a subsequent autopsy showed that it would live! Well, the repair process has begun ...

I attach a photo of the car at the time of purchase, I will write a continuation later.
