Resin from the British company ScottBader, Crystic 491PA (excellent product in all respects) and hardener-catalyst Curox 300.
Note. Always use protective equipment when working with glass-containing materials!
Further, a separating wax warmed up to the operating temperature is applied to the surface, so that subsequently there would be no problems with removing the matrix itself.
After processing with wax, pasted over the initial layer of glass veil.
Next, the layers of glass mat will go, and the block will be reinforced with matting.
I decided to add gills on the sides to my hand-made bumper. You can, of course, fashion new ones, but without further ado, I removed the matrices from the finished product.

If the matrix is ​​made with high quality, then grinding may not even be needed. Although if a grinder is at hand, then there is nothing gemorno in this process. Hemorrhoids are different. If you make the part yourself from scratch, this is truly time consuming.
