We go on instruments! - Toyota Caldina, 2.0L, 2000

Today, among other things, was marked for the "custom garage" (oh, how! :) with the release of another fiberglass piece, specifically - a podium for 3 extra. device. What is it for? In fact, there is no practical benefit from it, except that there is an arrangement of sensors in one place. The benefits are rather aesthetic - beautifully and competently arranged sensors are pleasing to the eye and allow you to monitor the vital processes of the car without interrupting the movement.
The podium was made from scratch, that is, the mold was initially molded from plasticine, and the matrix was already removed from it.
Future location.

We draw out the form with putty. Alas, as a rule, most often, you cannot do without it ...

This is roughly what should be the output. Finished product for painting. Three rounds were not displayed in any way, since they will be cut to insert devices.

And what kind of stuff did you use then, well, I have to introduce a standard one, or is it software?

The first layer is fiberglass, the top layer is the finishing soft.

yes, the body is just generally crap, the putty is always damp, almost
and the soil I just keep quiet ... in my life I will not use the body anymore either

You're right. At least I am completely satisfied with Motip from the so-called "hand" paints, varnishes and primers. And Novol has proven itself very well from putty.
