Front caliper repair kit — Toyota Avensis, 1.8 liter, 2007
When replacing the front brake pads, I revised the guide calipers, which tinkled when driving through bumps. The guides were in poor condition - the grease was almost dry, the rubber bands were swollen. I generously lubricated my fingers, I try to insert them into the guides - they won’t fit - the rubber bushings slid down the finger and blocked the progress. I threw away the rubber bands and drove with a saucepan sound until I bought a guide repair kit (~ 320 UAH). Set. The rattle has disappeared.
The photo shows that the new anthers are much smaller and, accordingly, denser.
Now I ordered the rear pads, and with them the original lubricant for the guides, it will come in handy.
Issue price: UAH 320 Mileage: 58,000 kmthey are where they are in the photo they are not there and do I need to order them new sorry for the importunity it’s just that my wife also rattles I didn’t know what to do I wanted to do it like on the classics to make a spring so that they would be pressed against the caliper
