Starting small — logbook Toyota Corolla Levin 1999
The first thing I went to the sink, launder everything that has accumulated. cockroaches just didn’t breed in the cabin, we still need to do dry cleaning, but this is still in the plans. special thanks to!
Then I bought oils, all filters, etc. and did it right. When they started to drain the oil from the box, it was black as a black man on New Year's Eve, the same thing in the engine ... I generally keep quiet about the filter. I poured Motul 10W40 into the engine, the original Toytovo in the automatic transmission, replaced all the filters. I installed Denso iridium candles .
Tell me, what kind of oil is not negative? Behind this firm, unlike others, are innovative technologies. And they do not buy a reputation for themselves, but earn it in sports!
And explain what exactly is wrong with Motul?
Judging by your words, Suzuki, Yamaha, Subaru SWRT, Nissan nismo, Honda mugen power, Austin Martin (you can list for a long time) these are abnormal service workers, and so, roll cotton wool!
We have most of the rally drivers, drag racers, drifters on it, and somehow everything is fine!
Maybe you just need to make the engine normally, and choose the right oil! And do not find fault with how much in vain, without giving a single sensible argument!
Hello, about Motul ... switch to another better oil. A lot of negativity about him, and the ratio of quality and price is not the same as before. I advise as a person who is engaged in autochemistry and communicates with normal service workers)
Nobody is catching you. Just as a person did not choose and did not lean towards 6100 according to the above text, which, for some reason, you decided to offer him.
You want to catch me on something that apparently you yourself are not very good at!
Well then, I explain, you can see my recommendations on Levin here:
www.drive2.ru/cars/toyota…4062246863888263655/#post
In this case, I provided a recommendation from what the person had already chosen! If we compare the 4100TL and 6100Syn products, then the 6100 undoubtedly wins in terms of performance, and is usually the best option for not the newest and unforced cars.
Regarding the recommendations on the site:
1. they are given taking into account new cars.
2. The use of high sulfur fuel is not taken into account.
And now, more specifically, regarding oils:
8100 X-clean 5W-30 is an oil for EURO4 fuel, the LOW SAPS series, therefore, has a relatively low base number, so with our fuel it will oxidize faster and lose its properties.
8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 is an energy-saving product of the GF4 specification with a low HTHS viscosity, which is absolutely not critical for this motor, especially considering its mileage and, as a result, wear. In this case, protective properties are more important than energy-saving ones.
Well, 4000 Motion 10W-30 is a simple mineral water!
Specifically, I would recommend this motor in our conditions:
either 8100X-max 5W30 (if the motor is in excellent condition)
or 8100X-cess 5W40 (for a good motor)
or 6100 10W40 (if the motor has already decently seen)
depending on the degree of wear.
And for greater awareness on the selection of oils, I would recommend to study the issue in more detail:

I was not even too lazy to find it like … and then I immediately get up in a stupor. YLevin, why 6100? As I understand it, not only does Motul impress you yourself, but do you understand it in mine? It's strange, why was he too lazy to go to www.motul.ru/, find the model in the appropriate section and advise the person exactly the viscosity and additives that are really suitable for his car?
Corolla AE101, 1.6L (4A-FE) (Correct? Or kicked?) Best 8100 X-clean 5W-30 (
b)
Better 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30
Good 4000 Motion 10W-30
Yes, everything is fine. Naturally, I didn’t just come to the store and buy the first one that came across))) There are so many people and so many opinions.

Thanks for the advice! This is the first experience so far) It seems that the engine does not eat oil)
But I would advise in this class of oils to try a stronger ruler - 6100 (there is more synthetic component in it than in 4100, respectively, higher oxidation resistance, better heat resistance).
And don’t listen to unfounded words, find out for yourself, surf the Internet, read and draw conclusions about what suits you best.

I didn’t hear anything about the unadvising account, and I didn’t want ordinary candles for 100 rubles) I just wanted to put good quality candles, I did.
why do you need iridium? for your mator ordinary candles for 100 rubles. it seems like they are not advised to put iridium there! it’s better to put what Toyota recommends iridium on the SAME engines goes
It's no secret, not only yours, but also TOIITbIWKA too. And I left not all those in which there is useful information. It's kind of like my blog ... and you started a skirmish here)
