Interior trim — logbook Toyota Camry 2008
Since I did this work before registering on the site, unfortunately I didn’t have any photos of the interior before pasting, but I think everyone knows the famous Camry interior design, trimmed with plastic in three colors - silver, wood effect and still managed to add chrome.
The idea to fix all this appeared immediately after buying a car. Since the plans include hauling interior leather (combined black + light). I haven’t decided which light one yet, but I’ve already come up with a design and the inserts in the doors will be exactly light - from here it was decided to take the vinyl film in black. In the office where they sell it, they offered black - matte, gloss or carbon - ah! was was not! Let there be carbon. Although on the way home I still doubted the correctness of my choice.
I arrived at the garage, quickly scattered the interior, took a thermal dryer and parts that I will paste over.
I came home - seven hours of work - and that's what happened.
It turned out well, but where did you buy the film? I also want to do something ) ) )
Thank you, but due to inexperience, I mixed up the direction of the drawing (on the handles), but this is fixable.
It turned out cool, not like a collective farm mowing under a tree :)
I also want to get confused, only I won’t fit the gray elements and the film will be carbon gray ... :)))
so I'm not the only one)
I also really don't like the color in the cabin, especially the combination of "metal" and blue backlight on the radio.
Bought the same Camry
Some kind of horror, if you alter it only with Alcantara or leather, otherwise it turned out to be some kind of stirrup, carbon is clearly not for Camry
Well, you're a joker! You first try leather or Alcantara yourself. If you don’t know, then the minimum skin thickness is 1 mm, and the pockets will definitely not open. And Alcontara needs care, and in such places it is better not to use it.
Well, I don’t know, then it’s better to just black or paint it under black piano lacquer, you can under aluminum. and somehow it looks cheap and in the car it’s somehow cold and not comfortable from this pseudo carbon fiber.
The beauty of vinyl is that it can be re-pasted at any time. And at the expense of carbon, maybe you're right, if it's not in the subject with a new interior color, then I'll re-glue it.
Yeah, they already brought me a salon, I looked at your link, there is a Range Rover Sport, I have the same color and pattern.
I would advise a light interior color, cream or orange :) well, this is my opinion it would look expensive and comfortable, take a look if you are interested

beautiful but 7 hours is a bit much ... although I also glued 5 hours for the first time

Representative salon Cemry in a boy's car.
For God's sake.
there wasn't even skin.
what a representative salon, but without skin.
and a leather-covered torpedo is not representative.
although, the colors are not for everyone, but I like it
yes, regular salon-bullshit, but the owner fixed everything.
and as for plastic, it should look like plastic, and not like a pathetic parody of wood.
so I approve carbon.
and the heyday of the cabin is very aggressively chosen

Executive? Well, you are a joker, meager with a plastic tree, he does everything right that changes, the Camry has problems with the interior in general for its class, it looks cheap, at least take Teanu heaven and earth
I am a kid, and when I find the wretched interior of the Camry beautiful, then I will think about sad things and begin to remember my youth.
I just got rid of the tree, right now I want to try to re-glue it into a regular dark mat.
It seemed to me that carbon looks better in a dark cabin. After you re-upholstered the interior, the carbon looks a little foreign. Try in Photoshop to estimate the film under the tree, preferably matte.
here you are really stuck.
but now you probably still rejoice at the fruits of your labor.
it feels like it's not a Camry, but some kind of Lexus.
even pulled a torpedo
The film is so-so, 3m is an order of magnitude better ...
Oracal 551 High Performance Cal (I don’t remember exactly, but it’s definitely something from Oracal)
Firework! Does the steering wheel have carbon intervention? I'm just wondering if I should stick it or not...
"black piano lacquer", the very thing, I've been wanting for a long time, just too lazy to disassemble everything again.
At the expense of the film, carbon looks a little better than standard wood, but still cheap. I prefer to put black piano lacquer or real wood, of course, a different price tag, well, if you do something, than do something. Carbon goes to sports cars well, not like a Camry.
The film goes under the plastic plug, the lid of the box itself is disassembled, so everything is smooth there.
Take a picture of the open drawer near the selector. how do the edges of the film look.
You won’t be able to break it, even if you really want to, everything is simple there
class looks)
can I ask a question? probably amateurish, but still. how did you remove all those wooden inserts and door handles? otherwise it would be a shame, due to inexperience, to break some kind of fastener and buy a new part)
