GORGAN-trophy`10: a week before the start — logbook Toyota Land Cruiser 1978
So two months of preparation for the next trophy have flown out. There is only a week left of which two days are allotted for the transportation of Lemonade Joe to the competition site.
Yes, this time, LJ, as a real athlete, will not go on his own wheels. A company of six prepared vehicles will cover a distance of 650 km on a car transporter.
The preparation, as always, dragged on, the winch cardan has not yet been assembled, a test run has not yet been made, but there will be no other time. On weekends I collect Lemonade on the road, on a weekday I load it onto an auto transporter, on Tuesday I leave after myself.
You need to be there by the morning of September 22 in order to pass the technical committee on time.
Currently stated:
— 28 pairs of ATVs,
— 18 tourists,
— 18 TR1,
— 16 TR2,
— 9 TR3 crews
Total: 56 units of quadrics and 61 jeeps.
Among the participants there are already crews from Brest, Minsk, Pruzhany, Zhodino, Kaunas.
They say that several more foreign crews will show up just before the start.
Ukraine is also quite widely represented: Lviv, Mukachevo, Kolomiya, Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Kamenets-Podolsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Uzhgorod, Kremenchug, Irpin, Vinnitsa, Krasnograd, Zaporozhye, Pereshchepino, and naturally Odessa, Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kiev. There are also local guys: smt Skhidnytsya, smt. Yasinya, Rakhivsky district, smt.Slavske, s.Tukhlya
It is clear that there will still be technical support vehicles, tractors of trailers and gun carriages, car carriers, technical support of tractors of gun carriages and trailers, photojournalists, film groups, media partners, semi-sponsors, sympathizers and just relaxing ... in general, we can safely add three more times the same number to the number of participants.
I know that several cars of my colleagues will go their own routes, so that by the day of the finish line they will join the main holiday ...
Now about the competition itself sparingly in the words of the organizers: the length of the route is 150 km. For everything about all 40 hours in three doses. If you divide the distance by the time, you get the speed - 3.75 km / h
