RGB interior and door lighting - Toyota Carina E, 1.8 liter, 1997
So, as promised, I am posting an article on new nishtyaks made in parallel with the assembly of the cabin.
I made the backlight of all 4 doors and the space for the legs of the driver and passenger, I didn’t fool around with the rear ones, because there’s nowhere to fix the tape, and well, what the hell is it in the back :)))
The controller bought once and it’s not clear why with an IR remote control came in handy. I left it for now, and then I plan to bungle a device specifically for the car, with different modes, including so that the colors change to the music :)
I switched the wiring for the future, so if you wish, you can make a separate control for each door ... In general, everything will depend here from fantasy! Oh how :)
In the meantime, stick friends what you have at the moment :) The backlight turns on when you open any door, and if you wish, you can simply turn it off from the remote control.
PS The first video was filmed in the process of celebrating my wife's birthday, that's why it was filmed crookedly, and there are drunken voices in the background. Well, why, we are not enemies to our health - we know how to have a cultural rest! :)
I filmed this yesterday already sober :)
The video could have turned out a little shorter if I could press the buttons on the remote control normally :) The reason is that on the aforementioned Saturday my left thumb was safely injured, which tried to press the buttons, which turned out to be not so easy :))))
Fans of questions like "Does it need such a Christmas tree?" I answer, I just wanted to and did it! :)
Here door lighting is useful, yes. Illumination of niches for legs — IMHO for an amateur. What is the overall price tag?
One without the other is not ice at all, but the price tag is 2000 controller, and the tape got for free on occasion :)
I love it :) The problem with the Christmas tree for the new year is no longer a problem))))
Well, you are an LED maniac! respect for a person whose hands are where they should be
There is a minus from the door limit switches, but you can even remove the plus from the cigarette lighter
There is a question. I here on my identity muddied the illumination of the legs. I threw a minus from the diodes on the body, and a plus to the door limit switch. Everything lights up when the door is open, but for some reason the lamp on the instrument panel began to burn dimly, the one that indicates that the doors are open. And when the rear doors are open (there is no backlight), then it burns brighter when the front doors are opened where the backlight is. Maybe I didn’t connect something, or does this indicate a breakdown in the circuit? I will be glad to any comments.
But is it really possible to make such an RGB backlight of the bottom? ))
With controller )
Everything is simple, although it is difficult to call it ingenious - it is too simple for ingenious :)
Everything is simpler :) My control minus is taken from the ceiling chandelier, and it switches the controller directly :) Therefore, all doors and legs light up and go out, no matter which door is open. I didn’t need a more complicated option with separate inclusion, so I didn’t rack my brain over its implementation :)
