Full disassembly - logbook Toyota Corolla 1990
Without pulling the cat by the whiskers, we decided to start completely disassembling the machine in the morning in order to start body work, because. from the first inspections, one could guess that without a welding machine there was nowhere to go. Therefore, having phoned with Farid xDriver-nch, we set off to disassemble the elevator. They began to dismantle the interior, which was almost completely gutted.
Then they set about the muzzle, threw off the headlights, dimensions, bumper, wipers, ventilation grate, both headlights were gouged into rubbish, most likely for replacement, one of them had a whole dead body, while the other had a dead glass. The muzzle was thrown off without problems, everything turned away, unscrewed without tension.
While Farid was unscrewing his face, I finished off the interior, the seat belt fastening bolts got stuck, it was decided to soak them with a mustache, which really helped, although when I was advised to do it, I could hardly believe it :) sheathing, removed the headlights, which, in addition to native fasteners, were still on Galim sealant (?) Among the spare parts, they found the same torn connecting rod with a piston. After the trunk lining was removed, the result was expected, the glasses rotted, in some places the holes were through, but we were not afraid of this and knew what we were doing.
Instead of a spare, a gas wheel :)
After the terribly dirty carpet was removed, it revealed the struggle of some false mechanics with the corrosion of the floors under it. What we just didn’t find there, liquid nails, plastered cardboard, a whole newspaper dated July 18, 2008, not retro, but a fact :)), in general, there is practically no floor :)
Well, then ran out of time and energy, not much left, remove the gas equipment, remove the ceiling, rear bumper and the most problematic door handles. We removed the moldings of all doors, including the rear, tomorrow we will remove the moldings of the lobach.
GEK
It remains to buy metal and go ahead =)
I don’t know about you, but I bought all the metal for myself in Taiwan, the price was cheap, since I deal with spare parts myself, the wings came out at $ 14, the thresholds were about $ 20, the door is really only orig. used 50$ .
Well, success in this is not a simple matter.
P.S. I just last night finally took my bumper from painting, after two times of repainting, the painters ideally didn’t do it anyway (BACOPORES)
14 bucks for a wing =))) bullshit — such a wing costs from 3,000 rubles =)))))
it's worth a penny for a sedan with a hatch — but for a liftback, nichrome!
It is magnificent! It remains to close the corresponding places with a mesh and hang it on a typewriter! I really like it!
Here I will give only one photo for now, the rest later =)

I found an ideal bottom from her in our city, we need to agree on a current price, the front fenders are alive, the rear doors can be changed, I’m waiting for pictures with a bumper, it’s very interesting what happened!

if I have time today I’ll just throw a painted one, I won’t promise by car soon, it’s necessary that the fasteners stick well
Haha, United Russia gloves chtoli, but I didn’t notice that I saw where the piston was in the photo. :)
