Washed the air conditioner — logbook Toyota Corolla Levin 1992
It all started with the fact that I bought a cabin filter. I wanted to get rid of the tornado that started when the stove was turned on and there was a terrible stench. The story did not end with the purchase of the filter ...
I had no idea where to insert it. He took off the bordachek, found a hole, tore out the clips, removed the jumper. Hooray, I was a pioneer, judging by the heap of sand and dirt ... I remembered my grandmother's vacuum cleaner bag "whirlwind" :) It was
decided to remove and flush the entire system.
Pulled out the air conditioner evaporator, I have never seen so much dirt! The compressor simply did not pierce through with air.
Washed everything, crap in which he stood, washed the fan too. I didn’t get the stove radiator, because I was afraid to disassemble the panel, but I blew everything thoroughly with a compressor, there was a lot of dust.
At first I wanted to fill it with chemistry without removing it, I'm glad that I went further and did it right.
As a result, I put the filter in, although they advised me not to put it on for the winter, but I passed to follow such advice, since I saw dirt from Japan, that was enough for me.
There is no dust in the cabin, it smells wonderful)
Before starting, I used the information I found on the drome. Thanks to its author, it was useful to read.
Perhaps it will help someone else.

They also say that on the air conditioner in damp dust, any muck multiplies. He did the right thing by not being too lazy to clean it.
One of my friends also removes the cabin filter for the winter, so that the air in the stove heats up faster - but I don’t really have such an idea.
The article is interesting! I’ll do it in May!
