Shumka. Episode 1. part 4, final - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1999
finally it happened. The interior (floor under the sofa, arches, wings, shelf) is glued with twiplen, again it is not clear why "just in case" the seams, joints and other dubious places are taped with adhesive tape.
Having started to assemble the interior, I realized my mistake - the skin sat down in places very difficult due to a plus of 1 cm in thickness ... as a result, half of the bolts were changed to genuine ones, all the clips securing the shelf and the lining of the "arch" in the trunk were also changed to longer ones - the skin sat everywhere tightly and tightly ... which is rather a plus than a minus)
I am very pleased with the arrival!
... now the line behind the doors and trunk ...
I used to look at the tape after Shumkov and smiled. And then somehow I saw in the soundproofing workshop that they were tape (reinforced, probably so as not to rustle) so the smile disappeared immediately. Well, I asked them. They said that in principle it is possible not to do it, but the joints remain and so that dust does not accumulate there or that water does not get under the twiplen, otherwise it will peel off by itself.
hmm ... really ... thanks) now I have no doubt that the adhesive tape was needed ...
Everything is correct! Scotch tape should be made so that any cocoa does not accumulate in the joints!
nah) it’s too much)
the main goal was not to isolate from the outside world, but to reduce the noise from the rubber in general, well, add a little sound quality - there is a result in this direction, and the noise of the walker was extinguished a little as a bonus) only the wheels are still buzzing through the doors rather robustly ... and I don’t want to deprive myself of the opportunity to find out in advance about the approach of crazy ambulances and carts with traffic police, I don’t want to)
