I worked a little on the acoustics ... - Toyota Crown, 2.0 liter, 1988

     Toyota Crown 20 1988

In general, it so happened that the rear 3-way KANSAI speakers died (to be more precise, one of them jammed after fitting the native plastic podiums under the new plywood rear shelf ... In short, chips got into the core of the woofer and it jammed so that it was even impossible move the diffuser with your hands) ...

By that time, I increased the holes in the metal of the rear shelf thanks to the grinder ...

I had to buy new speakers ... And by chance in the store I came across a couple of Mystery for 899r, which, unlike their dumb brothers in terms of sound purity and bass power, were shut up by pioneers and kiks that cost 2 or even 3 times more expensive ... (I myself would never I couldn’t think that mysteries can do this) ...

I pulled out the rear shelf again and decided to do everything in a civil way, cover it with a carpet, and instead of paralon, lay a very thick, soft, incomprehensible material in 2 layers to soften the sound ... After installation, I tried it, the sound is better than I expected in my thoughts, at the moment when scraped wallpaper (the story about them on the main page) ...

I will post a photo of the installed shelf in the coming days, because I installed and fixed the shelf in the evening, and my Nokia with a broken display is unlikely to be able to capture something in the photo ...

And you have a radio tape recorder that is no longer native, I look?
Did you use pieces of native wiring, or stretched out your new one?
There, I just read there are troubles with using the built-in amplifier, do you have a description of the purpose of the contacts of the head unit (2din)?

Initially, I had my own 2-din, consisting of two parts, I’ll post a photo here a little later ...

Built-in crap amplifier ... For there is no point in bothering ...

I installed Mystery, which survived 3 cars in its lifetime (my brother and 2 of mine), of course it’s not a fountain, but it’s much better than my own ...

I will have a different layout, namely:

4 speakers connected in pairs will come to the front 2 channels ...

Front and rear door left speakers ----> front left channel.
Right Speakers and rear doors ----->front right channel.
Rear shelf speakers -------> rear left and right channel.
Subwoofer ---------> two-channel amplifier or monoblock with a control unit output under the arm (namely, just into an empty hole with my 1 din radio)

There is no need to worry about the front ones, because. door speakers four 10 cm pioneers that will quietly play 2 to 1 channel

I also got confused with the shelf, while there are some inaccuracies, but even so I will be guided by your photos, but what about your refrigerator?

I cut from the trunk (the tank was removed, the torsion bars of the trunk lid were removed - which are transverse), and sitting in the spare wheel niche with all the comfort, you can easily and naturally cut the shelf =)

another question, how did you get there with a grinder? There, after all, the distance is very small
