Swap ICE. Episode six. — Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1998
So we are back on wheels! But, as always, it was not without clods of pancakes. And these same lumps got out on the first test drive.
The first thing I felt — a very low traction on the bottoms (even compared to 4A-FE). If you press on the gas in the range of 0-3000 rpm, we get the opposite reaction - the engine starts to blunt in proportion to the pressure. At about 90% of the pedal depressed, the thrust generally practically disappears. But as soon as we crawl up to 3000 with the damper fully open, we get a push in the back - and we “flewâ€.
I suspect it's an oxygen sensor. It is likely that it is not properly connected. The connector was torn off on the spit, so I had to compare the wires according to the primer.
The second option is that the stock exhaust from the FE (or a clogged catalyst) simply plugs the black.
In general, it does not go out to harness 165 Japanese horses. Therefore, I will ride like a pensioner until I find the reason.
Have you figured out about the "stupid" thing? This is definitely an oxygen sensor ... black is very sensitive to this sensor. There was such a situation when the mass came off on the CD)))
