Easy tuning brakes. — Toyota Celica, 2.0 liter, 1997

Absolutely dissatisfied with the stock brakes of his car! They overheat very quickly, and the braking efficiency is quite low ... It is worth noting that the original pads overheated on the third lap in Myachkovo and the brakes simply disappeared after that :) :)
In general, I decided and ordered a kit from celica gt-four. Thanks to Max CelExiv-205 , he encouraged me to do this and helped me to carry it out :) :)
During the winter I will put the kit in order: I will sort out the calipers, paint, grind the discs, buy the pads ... I will install it in the spring.

In the meantime, for the winter, I decided to leave stock, but I ordered EBC GreenStuff pads on e-bay.

Came quickly - in 2 weeks) Installed last week and happy as an elephant :) :) Much better than the overheated original) And after warming up, it seems that they just stick to the disks - excellent braking (compared to stock)! In general, it is quite enough for a vegetable ride in winter)

Thank you, it's nice to see you here!) 300 km rolled in the city, without sudden braking "to the floor." But I'm afraid you're right and that's not enough! Apparently you will have to roll on the track itself, or at night on the Moscow Ring Road)

Dani hello! You think positively. Now you will go faster in the stages. Just roll the pads better. Because even when it seems in the city that they rolled up, it’s not a fact that they rolled up for the track.

Disks will not eat?
They are tougher

My father has a Subaru Forester STi, about 300 forces. Brake discs Brembo pads Ferado 2500. I myself rode I will say that this is a bzdets … it slows down very much. do not forget the reinforced hoses =) and, if possible, change the GTZ to a tuned one and a vacuum cleaner)

I will change the brakes and will definitely try the ferrodo)

pads are good! I also advise FERODO RACING DS 2500, excellent braking! but the discs obviously stock will not go.
