Taillight tinting — logbook Toyota Corolla FX 1992
When buying a car from the previous owner, I got a set of three rear headlights, two of which were tinted with dark varnish.
To be honest, I'm not a fan of such tuning, the headlight should first of all be bright, noticeable on the road.
Therefore, it was decided to remove this trash.
Attempts to unpick with a screwdriver or soak in hot water were unsuccessful. Also, it was not white spirit, not acetone that helped 8-)
I decided to remove the whole thing with a sandpaper, after which I removed the smallest one in a bowl of water (because it melted on dry chips and made new scuffs). Then I polished everything with car polish.
See photo...
Cool, Kostya still gave these headlights to me, he also thought to remove the film, but his hands did not have time to get it)

and the darkened headlights looked just fine on it))
but the taste and color, as they say))
