Chimney sweeps, or we clean the stove))) — Toyota Celica, 1.8 liter, 2001
Podkapotka assembled — it's time to assemble the stove and put a torpedo, so that you can start the engine.
First of all, we prepared a motor shield.
washed everything, taped Shumkov.
Then it was time to dismantle the stove and wash it from age-old deposits, dust and a terrible stench that appears in any stove with a chimney.
the radiators were covered in a thick layer of sticky, stinking dust. Too bad the photo doesn't capture the smell.
All this economy, together with the valve body, was disassembled and completely washed to a new state.
I decided to climb up to the heap and into the stove fan. and there ... well, almost the same thing.
For half an hour, the wife washed the blades ... but the result was worth it))
It remains to put everything together))
And put it in its rightful place! ))

in the next series, installation of a torpedo, wiring, connection, filling with liquids and first launch))
After all, not only the result is important to me, but the process itself is fascinating and interesting)
Well karoch sour efforts, BUT little financial blood, the car is new. Although used. . .Although broken. . .Although - lope is not known from what the same cobbled together is on the market? I say - good luck!
My Selick also wants) she used to have a blind Selick. she understands being killed) but somehow not very much to me. I took and bought an eclipse) now we are collecting it for the Selick))
yes, it's very cool)) but for my — Selick — a dream that we realized together)
Yes, after) On Astra F stands under the hood, before the fan, I don’t know why the Deutsch engineers later changed the design. Only the mesh to the fan remained.
and the strangest thing is that the filter is after the fan, and not before it ... yes, I suspect that the design of asters is approximately the same ...
Most machines have a similar design. but here the filter is much easier to change than on N-ke)))
I re-read your BZ, just respect! A bold project, seriously! And it's very interesting to look at your own car from such angles, from which I've never seen it :) Useful!
