Revision of oil leaks and death of the radiator. — Toyota Paseo, 1.5 liter, 1999
Briefly and to the point:
1) As far as possible, I wiped off all the oil drips and took a picture for comparison.
They promised me to eliminate the cause of these drips when changing the timing belt, rollers, and valve cover gaskets.
2) Radiator. Dismantled, dismantled the expansion tank, 2 Carlson. They took him for a soldering. Diagnosis - non-repairable. Irrational. 4 visible and a lot of small holes that, under pressure, will do their rusty job.
Conclusion: We appeal to workers from the Middle Kingdom. 135 bucks. will go for a week. Haven't ordered yet, but will soon.
3) Climbed into the trunk. I was pleasantly surprised by the absence of a corpse lying there =)
But I saw a Kalkhoz spring from the sofa =) And then I thought, why does it open so strangely?
Here is the original one, I will farm the same one in standard seats.
4) Dismantled the second headlight. Easy and joking. Case 30 minutes. Now there is something to strive for =)
Here I am. I'm glad I didn't break anything =)
In the evening I will develop the topic with lensing.
See you.
all of the above awaits me ... but for now I'm saving money. and vacation in November...
It's hard to see where the oil is coming from in the pics. My valve cover gasket was leaking. I changed the timing, 2 rollers (there are 2 of them, and not as everyone thinks that one) and the gasket itself. The strap took the original, and the rollers took some, the originals were also there) 2 hours in the garage and everything changed)
