since in the previous series the engine was started, it was the turn to get to the suspension.

First of all, the front — a drive assembly was bought from a teammate, one more — brake discs, one more — lower arms. with the world on a thread — Selick pendant)))

for comparison - the old automatic drive and the new one - from the handle. It can be seen that the manual box is thicker and more reliable))

an old bent lever, an old drive, a brake disc, all this in scrap metal! New replacement!

I also took off the old torn boot and bump stop from the rack, put it fresh)) since there were no screeds at hand (a friend took it), I pulled it with stainless steel wire.

now the entire front suspension is assembled, and works properly, which is good news. But in order for the car to go, there is not enough little detail - BRAKES.

I figured out the handbrake quickly enough, laid the cables, screwed it, adjusted it. Everything worked)))

It can be seen from my happy face))

But with normal brakes, a problem formed. on the rear brakes, small tubes were cut off, which connect soft hoses directly to the cylinders. to order them to wait almost a month ... this is not an option.

but ingenuity does not sleep … Tomorrow we make the brakes!
