Rear seat (beginning) - Toyota Corolla, 1.6 liter, 2008

More than once I had such a question: is the rear seat (not the back) removed or is it screwed tightly? Please share your knowledge if anyone has it. I tried to remove it myself, but I could not find what was holding it in the middle.

Almost a year later, I took it off! :D

Thank you, I’ll try it soon, but somehow it turns out rudely ...
By the way, under the backs (at the junction of the back and seat) in the middle area, there is some kind of loop that does not allow the seat to be raised, it is removed from the hook with a screwdriver, but it’s still something then he is holding it from below.

removed! it just needs to be pulled up well! you insert a thicker screwdriver and from the edge of the seat (which is near the door) you lead to the center. rests against an obstacle and pulls the seat up, helping her with a screwdriver! from the other side you do the same procedure.

there are only 2 clips with the floor, and there is nothing more to break there. there is also an elastic band that holds a couple of belts, but they are easy to pull out and a piece of iron that goes under the backs, but when you snap off the clips by pulling the seat forward (in the direction of travel), this piece of iron will come out from under the backs.
Do not be scared! ))

in the last photo you can see those clips that snap off by pulling up.

Thanks to! Now I am, so to speak, "armed" with knowledge :)

that's great! there will be more questions - ask, I've already sorted it all out.

I was puffed up with this seat and didn’t take it off… either I apply little force, or I’m doing something wrong…
