Replacing brake discs and pads from the front! — Toyota Corolla Runx, 1.5 liter, 2001
It's time to change the brake discs and hence the pads! I looked at existe originals cost from 2500 rubles. up to 8000 rub. How expensive is that! I looked from the European analogue of the price from 1000 rubles. In general, the choice fell on Brembo and 09.9824.10 price 1500 rubles. I also bought pads NK 224552 price 936.60 rubles.
Everything has risen, but the discs are a little thicker and a little larger in diameter. The question had to be solved with the help of lining the shims between the rotatable fist and the caliper bracket!
But the photo quality is really not very good!
I hope the front ones do not differ, otherwise I laid out 6,000 rubles for the front and rear. So damn embarrassing! =(
but I got up, there were nuances, but I put the washers between the support and the base of the casing. From the Europeans, they are a little thicker and the diameter is a bit larger!
Damn, the rear brake discs did not fit from the Europeans =(
I'll have to give them to the turner for adjustment =(
Yes, in fact, there are no problems with the removal of any at all! The problem then put back the caliper with new pads. When you remove the caliper, try to take the piston all the way back, then there will be no problems at all. Well Toyota ... there is no crap!
Was it hard to replace? How did you remove the old brake disc?
I also bought a new set for myself, I want to install it tomorrow. I bought Bosch for 1400 per disk.
At the expense of Bosh, I also thought, but then even went to Brembo, just because of the brand))))
