Fuel filter assembly is a headache or wasted money ... - Toyota Corolla, 1.4 L, 2003

Fuel filter assembly is a headache or wasted money - Toyota Corolla 14 L 2003

Corollo water, hello everyone! I faced such a problem ...
I wanted to replace the fuel filter, ahh it was not there, it was assembled! = (The price of this miracle is about 10,000-12,000 rubles. Frankly speaking, a toad sneaks up and strangles, I wanted to change it not because something works poorly somewhere, but just for prevention, but here on you, damn it ...
Who can do that give advice on how to deal with this, and one condition - I don't want to reinvent the wheel (It's a machine, and everything should be reliable here!)
Thank you in advance!

if there are no problems yet, I would not change! I think that it is necessary to change only when it is necessary =) for sure someone has already figured out how to solve this problem with less cost! =) we live in the country of the Kulibins =)

No, in fact, this is real, only he is not quite a consumable, here you see what's the matter, they (Toyotovites) claim that this filter is designed for at least 100 thousand km, and I already have 113 thousand km, and even with our that fuel! There, the filter comes with a pump, filters, inlet pipes, etc. - and everything is in one block! = ((

something I do not believe that a consumable for a Toyota class C can cost so much! I have 350 rubles for golf! something is not right here! don't pay yet wait!

Can it be rinsed or blown out? Is the pump disassembled? Look at the disassembly? I didn't understand what it looks like, but I think you can think of something.
Photos are good, put 5

Dear,
I am holding the Owner's Manual for toyota corolla, I open section 6 page 258
table Maintenance operations:
Fuel filter (including the filter in the fuel tank) - replacement every 80 thousand km!
PS I bought such a unit myself a week ago, mileage 90,000. The previous owner did not change this filter, now I am wondering how to change it? Where to buy, etc. So to change or not to change?

I sold for 140 thousand and not changeable and everything was in order!

Slavostian 01.12.20

Do not change until there is no reason for that! The instructions contain a lot of things that we do not follow and nevertheless live well! Good luck!

I would be sooooo grateful! Although I was told that you can still not pull it if you do not bother, since such filters are assembled for 180,000 km, and I have 110,000 km!

Definitely go to the Kulibins and everything will be ok. what another 10,000-12,000 rubles.) And the fact that the filter is assembled is real, I heard this problem from others, but they bought it for 1800, if I'm not mistaken, you were given a very large figure!
Find out more precisely, throw off the info!

it is worth changing. when the problems begin, only then. changed for selik- no difference.

S
Slavostian 01.12.20

Yes, I already thought so, does not bother and do not care!

Markol 01.12.20

DO NOT change. If not worried. Moreover, there are all sorts of cleaning additives, for example from Liquid-Moli. You can read my blog if you are interested. I use it myself regularly.

Thank you huge, only I didn't hold anything in my hand (this is a photo from the Internet, supplemented my story) =)

I changed ... what you hold in your hand is a filter, in a plastic case there is a filter element (like a sponge or something like that) you take out the pump, a mesh, buy this case and insert an old nose and, better, a new mesh on it.
I took the case itself for 700 r a
mesh of 250r,
although at first they gave the wrong filter, they differ in holes ...
And what you are offered for 12,000 is a filter, a pump and a mesh assembly.
AND EVERYTHING!

my korolka england also said it changes along with the pump. familiar kulibins disassembled the filter fits from avensis costs 2000 rubles. there we broke off the non-removable hoses together with the fittings and then drilled them with a drill. heated and put on a new filter tormented 2 hours

M
MasovikZateinik 01.12.20

Do not rack your brains, I recently changed myself, I will soon lay out the whole process in a bortovik, it takes 2 hours on my own. the filter itself costs about 350-400 rubles unoriginal, the original in the region of 600-700 rubles. Finding is not a problem at all. There are 2 of them. one fine filter is just what you need, and the second is a coarse filter, this is a mesh, which, in principle, does not clog at all. it is not changed. I "cleaned" it with a brush. Hemorno remove the hoses. 1 was directly removed. and so all normales.

There is no fuel filter on the Corolla ...
All he holds in his hand are pumps and fuel tank level sensors. It's just a pump with a filter element so that the twisting elements on the pump do not clog ...
Yes, it happens that these nets get clogged, but this is because people very often ride on a light bulb sucking the last from the bottom of the gas tank)
Do not drive it out, it is all pulled out and blown by compressed air. it makes no difference it gets dirty the same as new and old. ))
Hold the fives ... recently I bought a sarolla myself)))

S

Thanks! =)) But, it is no longer relevant!

The Corolla has a fuel filter, I have it behind the adsorber, under the hood near the GTZ. It is of course gemorno to remove and change, but it costs about 1,000 rubles and lasts for 40,000 km.
The engine is like yours, since I have a restyled ...

warden4you 01.12.20

dear experts! I have 1.4, 96 hp, but on acceleration the carburetor 2109 from 1.3 ... is screwing like a cyclist ... maybe this is because of the filter (mileage 100,000, +50,000 kulibins twisted)?
As I understand it, the filter is installed with the pump in the tank ... but also under the hood should there be a "sump" with a curved tube? I have some kind of poebotina from xs what, on procrastination instead of hamutikov ...
question: 1) can it go badly because of the filter? 2) how to get by with "little blood" when replacing the filter in the tank? 3) what should be under the hood? (photos, pictures will make concepts easier) ...
thank you all for your help! (if it's not difficult, answer in HP)

And please tell me the article numbers for the filter and everything else on the 2012 Toyota Corolla. And if you can take a photo of the filter itself.
