What is better to choose for low beam lamps CATZ or IPF 5000k - Toyota Avensis, 1.8 liter, 2008

       CATZ IPF 5000 Toyota Avensis 18 2008

I thought about something and decided to put not xenon in the head light, but gas-filled bulbs with a color temperature of 5000K (WHITE). This is connected only because the cops) and I don’t want to break the law.

Listen, I cheated a little ... I have had them for less than a year ...
somewhere in January of this year I put it on the near one, and the far one as soon as I bought the car ...
Here is my post: www.drive2.ru/cars/hyunda...4062246863888256379/#post
Temperature 4150
But everything is exactly the fact that more than half a year is already shining, that's for sure .

ps By the way, I try very hard to follow the instructions for using light bulbs, namely, I don’t start with the dipped beam on ...

thanks lihoy. I think that the xenon effect will also be created in foglights and I will definitely take into account that they are durable, otherwise they scare everyone here that is for 2 months maximum :) And what is your color temperature?

L
LiHoy 27.01.22

Greetings. I have CATZ bulbs for low and high beams. They shine perfectly, and most importantly with white light, with xenon, of course, there is not a big difference ... in color temperature. The middle one is on almost all the time, I installed them about a year ago ... this is about the service life.

ps in the PTF, I just had xenon, but I have them with lenses.

Why don't you want xenon?

Do you have a miner in your foglights?

Wow, what a smart mainer =) I meant that it is CATZY that extends the service life because they burn quickly. And with the usual Tayot koito, they don’t care, their service life seems to me unlimited :) )

"ps By the way, I try very hard to follow the instructions for using light bulbs, namely, I don’t start with the neighbor on"

"But it seems to me that if you do not start the engine with the headlights on, the service life will be longer"

that's what he said =)

F

Well, in your blog, I see you are very pleased with them!
But it seems to me that if you do not start the engine with the headlights on, the service life will be longer! Thanks for the help!

Put xenon and don't worry))) right now, according to the law, there should be a washer and corrector, and then you can))

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

hmm ... it’s a pity there is no washer and an automatic proofreader: (Well, didn’t you bother with light bulbs?

5000K for a halogen is already... there is no light... you will especially understand when it rains. I had KOITO gas-filled lamps 4200K. the light is beautiful, but !
people forget about the flux density of xenon and halogen (gas-filled). Approximately xenon has 2700 Lumens and halog 1500. So the blue bulb (whiter headlights) the lumens decrease and how we understand the lighting ... even more than the blue bulb, the headlight turns blue on a sunny day.
so 5000K for a halogen is a lot IMHO. It is beautiful and illuminates well only on a dry road ... now I have an OSram. in my blog I have a comparison of Osram and Koito. Look.
in the far is PIA 3800Kelvin. on near if halogen. I would put these lamps. not higher…

Listen, do you recommend to install it or not. Koito P0754W H4 60 / 55w? 4200 k

Hello =) Thanks for your nice comments! Cleared up a lot in my head, what I doubted was how it will shine on a wet canvas. You helped me a lot with the choice of kelvins :)

There are no problems with the technical inspection and there wasn’t, and thank God. That’s just the law of the stsuka came out and now they can do it if they want: (I had 5000k xenon on another car, this is of course a fairy tale! I have already decided on the choice of this bulb of increased brightness.

M
Mephist 27.01.22

and why Xenon is impossible, you can ... you just won’t pass the inspection. take off and go. Xen is cool =))) at least so far. so cha and the lens is worth it ... if you don’t climb under the hood, you won’t understand at all.

Thank you for your informative comments! And I'll go to the forum right now.

M

By the word "these" I meant PIA 3800K. (55W -> 110W) Above even 4100, there will be little further light ...
Plus (I read it somewhere), do not forget that the older the lamp, the dimmer it shines. A 1 day lamp will be brighter than a 4 month lamp.
and so on some FOCUS 2 forum - ffclub or something like that, there were tests. look...

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

I already bought an IPF 4100K, I'll put it on the weekend) So if you're interested, come in!

I
Igor096 27.01.22

5000 K is the best option, I have 4300, I'm not complaining ...

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

Honestly, I don’t even know ... what did you want other lamps?

M
Misshoney 27.01.22

Do not tell me, on X1, what are the dimensions of the lamps in the dipped beam and PTF?

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

Why don't you like standard BMW lamps? =) The light is excellent

M
Misshoney 27.01.22

I want to either put xenon, but in order not to bother with all sorts of blocks, you can also have halogens. Here are the dimensions.)

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

Yes, they do it right. I have already played enough with the lamps ... I can say for 100% that there is no better drain! All this quickly gets boring!

M
Misshoney 27.01.22

Yellow. And I would like it to be more white, with blueness, like xenon)
Although many dissuade ...

M
Misshoney 27.01.22

I will listen!)

)) I understand this so what are they for?

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

Apparently someone has already done it before you -

m
matsa26 27.01.22

Yes

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

Made in lids?!

m
matsa26 27.01.22

Tell me why the holes are just for me they are already made

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

d4s is a xenon bulb, when there is already factory xenon in the headlights, there is such a lamp there. If you have an ordinary h7 halogen in the middle, you can buy a xenon lamp also h7 ... the only thing you will need to do is to make holes in the caps with crowns. Firm is CATZ and IPF//

A
A-VENIK 27.01.22

Maybe this is all superfluous, but I haven’t played enough yet, and that’s why I want to ask which bulbs to put in the neighbor? The question is not so much about the company, but about the model of the light bulb. There is a d4s model on the internet, but there are no such bulbs ... Or is it a kind of H? for example H1 with d4s mount?

F
FollowSkoda 27.01.22

I had IPF ... I didn’t like it, it’s better to put yellow osrams, it’s much more sense ...

YuraBMW, how did the lamps work? 3 years have already passed. Tell us about your impressions!
