Computer in the car — logbook Toyota Altezza, 2001

For a long time this idea hit the car. Back in the spring, the regular screen was withdrawn, later it was given to someone from the Altezza club)

At first they wanted to assemble a computer with a small system unit, but as a result, an Asus Eee PC 900 laptop was bought at a flea market. They dismembered it, extended the cable for the monitor for a long time, and soldered it for days and nights. And more than once. As a result, he worked poorly, the train was thrown out. On the Internet, they found in Tula the sale of the same laptop in parts. We waited a week for the train to be sent. And we decided not to touch it anymore)
It was decided to build in a monitor from a laptop instead of a regular one. They cut the frame, after which they blew it with foam and I shaped it for a long time, sanded it, puttyed it (more than once). The panel was covered with spray paint, matte.

The acoustics were also installed and a box for the Hertz DS 300 subwoofer was knocked together (this is a separate issue. It was made for about a week for a long time calculating the parameters for good sound. This fool now occupies the trunk floor)))
X hour came when everything was assembled and it turned out that the angle of inclination monitor is not very good. So everything has been delayed. With the monitor, we decided not to suffer, we bought a shelf panel and a lilliput touch monitor.
