If it seems to you that the presence of a mobile connection is a sign of civilization, then for you it may be so. But then it seemed to me that a sign of civilization is when there is a service. Well, at least some.
Even at the briefing, the orgy said that the only service station is at the only gas station in our area. And even earlier, on the day of arrival, I met the owner of the gas station complex, my namesake.
And so, shaking on the way to the camp in sad thoughts about the amount of time lost, sorting through the teams that usually travel with a strong support group in the form of a bus with equipment, we met the HOST of the STO.
To my question about welding, he busily clarified:
- Automatic or electrodes?
- Any!
- Yeah. There are no electrodes. And the automatic gas is over. And still no welder. And so it is possible.
And we went to the camp. And it's empty there. No people, no cars, no support teams. We find an org - nothing.
The optimism and enthusiasm of my navigator knows no barriers, and we continue to look. We looked into the yards, trying to find a semblance of an MTS and a technical station - nothing. We meet our guys from TP2, they joke: “We only have cold welding†...
We drive further towards the service station, when our last counterparts catch up and report: “We found welding! Follow us."
Thanks guys! They donated half an hour of their time just to tell us about it.
Welding. Real electrode welding. On the bridge. Now, instead of repairing the bridge, they are repairing my quinoa. They repair with enthusiasm, not listening to my comments, objections and warnings.
And the bridge is full of life - quadrics, our TRs, tourists are rushing back and forth ... Everyone drives up, asks “how are you†and “what can I do to help†...
During the 3 hours that passed on the bridge, I managed to braid the cut-off Kevlar into a hook, remove and disassemble the interlock compressor, make sure that it is healthy, but did not have time to find the reason for the lack of power on it. All fuses are intact, there is power to the relay, but then - no. I just started making a temporary hut, and here the quinoa is ready.
Well, we moved on. And work was already in full swing on the bridge: the spring of the Belarusian crew, the exhaust of the UAZ, someone else asked us where to find a welder ...
We go to the mountains. Check-in at 111 quarry-type points. When the boulders become the size of a wheel, we stop, back. Second try. At first, everything is great, and then turn, slope, boulders and ... towards the Belarusians with a broken spring. We decide to leave this point for a snack. Let's go further ... By the way, this was the only point we went to and did not take.
Descent under the bridge, there is our point. Boulders, wet clay, logs. Quite twirling in place, we go backwards
After the picture, I almost plunge into the stream with the camera. At this moment I take a picture:
One of the points that I remember very well was a wonderful ascent of 350-400 meters in height at a distance of 500 meters. Clay rut goes up into the dense trees, Lemonade on the first low one frankly slipping with four Simeks quietly climbs up. Approximately in the middle of the ascent, the movement stopped, the bridges slightly touched the track and that was enough. We unwind the winch, but it’s impossible to stand on the road - the slope is hoo. Swan, don't let me down!
Grumbling and creaking, the winch pulls up gently, so we unhook the extension cord, but let's try it myself and ... Lemonade Joe begins to climb up the track. Masha, so that the Kevlar does not get under the wheel, runs forward with a cable, but the end of the ascent is another 100 meters and I pull as quietly as possible, because my tireless navigator is already rowing up on all fours. Everything! We are on a plateau.
For a long time I will also remember the descent. It was my first real mountain ascent and descent on a corner when it's hard to believe that you can go there. Then there were more than one of them, maybe even more abruptly than this one, and definitely heavier, but this one was the first.
Then everything went as it should - driving, point, check-in-photo-departure, forward ... Point under the bridge, analysis of boulders, check in backwards, a stone under the gearbox, friend Hi-Jack and transferring the back straight to the point ...
The decision was made to return. It's already dark, and we have to cut another two hours before the finish line.
Loudly slamming with a torn off sheet of corrugated roof, ringing with all its steel members, the magpie along a wildly rough road, dancing a tarantella, carried us to the finish line of the first day.
13 8 points. Few. But we continue. Fatigue. The absence of other desires, except to be silent. Silence through the cotton curtain of deafened ears. Cold creeping in. I want to hang in the moonlight and scroll through today. But…

Awesome, there are simply no other words!
a good navigator is already a serious bid for victory!
winch cardan. When she is hooked on the bumper and wound up, then she simply has no choice but to tear something.
Very, very interesting to read. Explain why the cardan broke so, from the technical side?
It is especially nice to hear from the beautiful half of the Boeing crew.
Thanks to!
I’m reading with pleasure. Soon I’ll really go back and forth 200 km, but I’m fast. Today I won’t have to sleep with these elections. Yes, and I’m making a second video series with a video.

That's the gel I set my sights on.
Today I have guests like in a good swamp of mud.

Expensive infections ... But vesch. The Traranosaurus has already been standing for three years chtol.
They sat down to zero and they would have hny hob. Only there you have to choose.
Dear optimists. Now many other manufacturers have begun to make agm batteries - the same varta for example.

I have 115e. We cook the trochs, then I put everything back in place so that they don’t sit down. I think they certainly don’t get better from the pile, but it’s easy to eliminate the accident on the spot.
Gel vaaasche say on the drum, brew brew.
Understood. I'll take it on board. It is only necessary to install other batteries (now 75) and a more powerful generator, but newer.
Brewed? Easy. Panhard rods were cooked only on Crillon from my Safari two pieces in the month of May. We got home on shit, don’t even go to grandma.
And If there were dozens of electrodes in a secluded place in Lemonade, preferably a two-three, two welding cables, one with a holder, well, a mask is possible for complete happiness, then ... then by removing the terminal24 of consumers, I could brew myself, but at least screw the floor of the car. I where he wrote about welding from his own car.
And the story is really in one breath, but I myself was there
And I send fiery greetings to the crew
Thank you, it's hard for me to judge, many small details remain out of line, I want to add, but I don't want to grind.
