Shumka. Episode 2) — Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1999

We got our hands to the door ... looking right now at the bortovik I was horrified - I had already stretched the Shumka for a month)
So everything is the same with the doors:
I sealed the inside as far as I could reach with isoplast, the second layer was twiplen

It became clear why many neglect bimast and roll up everything, including the floor and arches with isoplast - it is thinner, it is mounted much easier and twiplen is glued tightly to it, unlike bimast ...
Then I covered the outer part of the door with isoplast

I didn’t close a big hole - it didn’t inspire confidence in me that the isoplast would just hang out on such a large area. Plus, the pins from the handle to the lock would somehow have to be skipped there ... and again, it’s not enough, suddenly I’ll have to climb) I decided to go the other way - I rolled it up that part of the skin that lies on this hole ...
On top of the isoplast twilight ... I realized with glue that the area of u200bu200bgluing could be increased. I glued the isoplast and splenite wider.

From above, everything is isoscript - a foam that shrinks almost to zero, does not creak against the skin, and is easily mounted on any areas. Again, I realized that the area can be increased even more and sealed wider with isoplast, twiplen, isoscript.

After the first collection, the door had to be disassembled again, the grooves were cut under the lock pins - they were tight and the central lock could not latch the door. After I made the grooves in the places of the tightest fit, the problem was completely gone. Sheath sat on the door tightly, tight. Now, when you press it, it not only doesn’t creak - it just doesn’t squeeze through) the door is heavier, now it closes deafly, without rattling, without rattling ... and of course, the noise from the street is much weaker, and the speaker began to play cleaner, plus it doesn’t rattle on the bass the door itself ... generally satisfied with the result) ... the second door will be similarly rolled up in the near future ...
More and more, the idea is to take the risk of disassembling the torpedo and gluing it completely and the motor shield, since the noise from the front wheels, although partially reduced from gluing the floor, remains, and this is almost the only sound that confuses in motion ...

Thank you)
So far it took ~ 7300 … Isoplast will remain on the trunk too much after the second door. But twiplen will need to buy a sheet for the door and 2-3 for the trunk approximately ... well, the same amount includes a sheet of some other material, I forgot what it is called, noise and heat-insulating, for gluing the hood - lies waiting for its fate ...

Just now I saw that you are from Nska, :)

How much money did you spend on material?

at the moment this "at the same time" does not fit into my budget) just do of course I would like to, otherwise there are factory dosihpor in the doorway) ... but it was precisely with the aim of changing them that I did not roll up the columns right up to the ring in a short time ...

It was necessary at once at the same time to change the speakers to component ones.

You just pay attention to how it is attached. I also left it at the beginning :)
Its purpose is just in soundproofing, and after sizing it is already superfluous.

hmm ... I will take into account) how I will change the columns - I will remove the foam, ATP)

So it will fall off the metal bar, which will remain hanging on the screws :)

I removed the foam, glued everything under it and screwed it back on top ... it should not fall off until it hurts, the screws sit very tight)

Great job! Why didn't you remove the styrofoam? It will bang! I have one fell off on the "sea trials" of the new acoustics :)
