The stage has passed for a long time, but the hands to write a report have reached only now :(
So, on September 5, the next stage of the Cup took place at the Moscow circuit in Myachkovo. Unlike the RHHCC stage, the weather on this day turned out to be wonderful, the sun was shining, but it was not hot. Optimal weather for a new record in general :)
And the record simply had to be, because shortly before the race, in the workshop of our team, the long-awaited brakes from Mazda RX-7 were finally implanted in me! Large Brembo brake discs + D-Speed ​​sport pads, reinforced Earls hoses, and of course the 4-piston calipers themselves.
For the development of this project, of course, I want to express huge respect to my teammate Pasha il4 !
However, not only good weather and new brakes should have contributed to a good result. I also spent a lot of time before the race analyzing my piloting and slightly changed the trajectory in some corners. Plus, I decided to try to stop the car while braking and also switching down the box, it turned out very effectively! (and why the hell didn’t I do this before ... live forever, learn forever :)
And the record was not long in coming, in the semi-finals I showed a time of 1.58.4! This is exactly 2 seconds better than my last achievement!

Moreover, the organizers said that with such results they would not let me into this class at all! So next season I will be in the same class with cars like the Ford Focus RS, Lotus Exige S and other turbo monsters ...
Well, we still have to live until the next season, but for now, another victory in the race and an early victory in the cup! :)
