replacing brakes with four-piston ones - Toyota Corona, 2.0 liter, 1984

Well, I got to the brake system ... I gathered my courage and ...
these are brake discs and calipers for clarity!

This is what the suspension looks like in original condition.

He removed the hub and was amazed - a little more and would have been left without bearings - the lack of lubrication killed the external one.

I carefully disconnect the disc from the hub, do not forget to change the studs (this is already my experience - I have already performed this procedure on the left wheel!)

I changed the bearing, since there are a lot of spare parts for two garages, the studs are elongated (albeit Chinese) and we fasten a new brake disc to the hub. how to live here! True, I gave the discs to the turner for boring the inner hole for the hub and four for the mounting bolts.

little left to do - make the new caliper fit! Lucky! adapters came with calipers, I don’t really know which car, the Japanese didn’t bother to unsubscribe, but they fit almost perfectly!
There are two types of hubs for such machines - for different brake disc offsets. chose those hubs, which I have more, I set to work! the adapter fit perfectly on the native caliper mount, although I had to deploy it. I tried on a caliper - 4 mm is missing. I didn’t grind, I reported the washer of the required thickness ... because of the deployed adapter, the fasteners also had to be twisted in the opposite direction, so that the caliper was screwed with the hub released.
Well, that's it! Nearly!

I began to wear a wheel - a problem! there is not enough diameter, but I have it 16 inches! sharpened the caliper to the correct size! now I’m thinking what to do with casting for 15 and new winter tires ... (
