A little light in the salon - Toyota Carina ED, 2.0L, 1994

It all started with the fact that I had to ride at night and constantly reaching into the glove compartment for cigarettes or a phone the first time I could not find them. Disorder. I wanted to highlight it a little. I didn't want to buy anything, but everything that was needed at a minimum was at hand. Three LEDs from the keyboard, a power connector from the motherboard and a shreker cut into it from the power supply unit. Well, then you needed a soldering iron, superglue, electrical tape, scotch tape, a 1kΩ resistor, a 12volt power supply to check this whole thing.
To begin with, I pulled out all the contacts from the shterer. I had to suffer a lot with a needle so as not to spoil them. Then the power connector was dropped from a piece of the board. Considering the fact that there are many contacts there, the thought arose that perhaps in the future they would like to add something else there, left it intact. Soldered hardly contacts - from below everything is minus, from above everything is plus. after that the connector itself was glued with a supermoment to the panel from the inside next to the cigarette lighter and soldered the wires to the cigarette lighter contacts. The socket with LEDs was cut into three parts (I erased all the tracks with sandpaper and a knife, I also grinded off the extra edges. In the "pocket" I made three holes with a diameter of an LED. I glued the resulting sockets and soldered all the wires. The resistor was soldered in the section of the wire and insulated. It turned out really not what I wanted - the light turned out not scattered, and point. Although not what I originally wanted, but all the same now there are no problems with searching in the dark. The light is not bright, so it does not interfere or distract in any way. In the future, I will probably try to play with other LEDs, or somehow else, in order to get not point lighting, but more diffused.
