The previous owner put them in to drive off-road, but I can’t understand why, it’s already very high.
As soon as I bought this car, I immediately stumbled upon a big problem. Oh my God! The car does not hold the road at all. It's just scary to drive on the highway over 80 km / h. And when, standing still, you completely turn the steering wheel and press the gas pedal all the way, your ass slides, as if rear-wheel drive is under you.
In short, it was decided to shoot. It took 3.5 hours. I can't say it's easy. I had to remove all the racks to pull out these spacers. Basically, everything was done by Emil008 , because. he is with these affairs “on youâ€. And a big thank you to him for that. Naturally, I thanked him properly.)
As soon as this rubbish was removed,
drove out onto the road and decided to do the same thing as described above, i.e. rotate 90 degrees from the spot. The result was not long in coming. The car began to dig the ground with its front wheels, but did not change the intended trajectory by a single centimeter.
Today on the track I put a speedometer on it. The car began to behave much better.
The car has become an order of magnitude lower, about 10 centimeters like this. Even a comical situation happened today: I’m going home in the evening, I look in the rear-view mirror and see the car. Like Niva-Chevrolet, I think. Well, now imagine what my surprise was when a Corolla caught up with me, on similar spacers, and not a jeep at all. )
