The choice of winter shoes - Toyota Corolla, 1.3 liter, 2009
Hmm, winter is coming, and winter in Moldova is, as always, a natural disaster. So the question arose about winter wheels.
Because I belong to the category of car owners "blonde at the wheel" (regardless of my gender type), I can’t decide what to buy?!
I won’t take studded tires for religious reasons (just kidding, I just plan to travel around Europe in winter and pull out spikes at customs with pliers, I don’t have the slightest desire).
There are, at the moment, several options for winter sneakers on the market, so ... here they are contenders:
1. Conti WinterContact TS 830 - 195/65 R15
2. Gislaved EuroFrost 3 - 195/65 R15
3. Matador MP-59 195/65 R15
4. Nexen Winguard 195/65 R15
5. Nokian WR G2 - 195/65R15
6. Semperit Ice Grip 3 - 195/65 R15
There are a couple of some Chinese but I don’t really look at them.
Who will say what about the proposed list.
It is clear that I would like to get the maximum quality and safety with a reasonable (economical) spending of money.
Last winter I went to Conti WinterContact TS 830 — 205/55 R16 I really liked the tires, very quiet, excellent road holding. I sat on my belly, so the cars were raked out by themselves. Well, ice is take, you need spikes.
hello =) I had a Korean Nexen Winguard 231 195/65 R15 on my Corolla =) The rubber proved to be excellent, it raked out from any snow and it was not a problem to drive onto an ice hill =) I did not put spikes, although it goes under the spike =) I bought a Goodyear on a Camry =) Of your choice, I would win the Conti WinterContact TS 830 — the tires are not noisy, soft and also good for wear =) Good luck on the road and have a good drive!
