So my Corolla left - Toyota Corolla, 1.3 liter, 1987

      Toyota Corolla 13 1987

That's where my car left. Toyota Corolla 1987 served me faithfully for exactly 4 years. Not once did the car get stuck in the road. She always drove to the service on her own. Never failed. It used to cause inconvenience, but always went in the direction in which it was required. The car has traveled 50 thousand kilometers. The final mileage approached the mark of 275,000 km. The car has come to an end, in many ways. The body has rotted (there are no thresholds, the rear arches have partially disappeared - dirt got into the cabin, the floor next to the driver's seat got a hole the size of a cd disk, since the legs are at the pedals - everything is held there, the rear glasses were cooked, but the left one began to wrap itself into the cabin from above ), the engine has started to smoke a little in the last couple of weeks, the stove fan has not been spinning for a month, the signaling began to fail. And now the merits. According to the suspension (fully independent), only one ball joint changed twice :) and rear springs. On the steering — once changed the rail with all the cases — no longer bothered. Started in winter and -25 — drove and drove. In the summer and at +32 it did not overheat. Weight 890 kg and 75 peppy 12-valve horses rode briskly in the stream. Chasing - not chasing, but holding on confidently. She left. It was replaced by the Nissan Primera P10 2.0 GT with power accessories without air conditioning. Let's see how this Japanese unit trains. here it is more likely that the owner is guilty that she is in such a state. (I have nothing against).

Yes, I agree with you, but it's still a pity. my car is in the best condition, but having been in the family for 16 years, this is a period. and I'm just sorry for just taking it and throwing it away. in a few years, such machines will no longer be found at all. we already have a few of these left in the city, but there are none like mine (sedan), I saw only one in Minsk and one in Grodno. so I think we could be happy owners of rarities in 10 years.

Reply to both of your comments. This machine was not an end, but a means. She was already up to me ushatanny on the body. Pour money into a 20-year-old car to bring it to an ideal - just not in a country where cars break down and rot from theft and greed of those in power. Only today I was in Finland in one parking lot and found 4 cars from the 80s with an almost perfect body condition. An everyday car should not be restored, it should be repaired and no more. And to restore I have another car.
And now about the run - how much she ran in reality - is unknown. I just wrote the number that I saw. She had one foot in the grave and the bodywork and engine. Her time has come :)

It seems to me that 275 thousand is very little. mine is 83 years old and has passed 294000 and still could run tens of 5 without intervention.
