Installing the steering wheel, gear knob, rear number plate - Toyota Corsa, 1.5 liter, 1990

On Saturday the weather was great, it was a sin not to tinker with the car a little. I installed a new steering wheel and gear knob, which have been waiting in the wings for more than a month. Suede steering wheel, leather handle. Everything is fine, but this steering wheel has more reach, the seat has to be moved further, and in order to reach the gearshift knob in the third and fifth gears, you have to lean forward a little, which is not very convenient. In the near future I plan to shorten and bend back the wings - it will be much more convenient.

And finally, I fixed the rear registration plate, while on the collective farm, before that I lay on the trunk shelf and constantly rattled on the speaker grilles. I had to sacrifice an insert between the feet, but this is a temporary measure, in winter I will give the bumper to sculptors to make normal attachments to the body, at the same time they will make a niche with illumination in the bumper to match the number.

Well, I overcame the toad - I ordered new door hinges on Exist - as soon as they arrive, I will hang the doors and install the thresholds, the car will look more harmonious with them;)
