Tired of squinting — logbook Toyota Corolla Levin 1996

All owners of Levino-Truen in 111 bodies are aware of the lack of stock, restyled headlights. They just shine bright! I got tired of it0, and inspired by the successful examples of some tubers, I decided to install the lenses in the near one. Lenses from the last, European chord (because they have the correct jackdaw) became donors. Initially, it seemed easy, the process turned out to be very time-consuming and painstaking, and dragged on for several days.
First of all, with the help of a mounting hair dryer, we disassemble the headlights (it’s better to do it together, it’s more convenient).

They are, in fact, donors.

Further, with the help (in my case) of a pneumatic drill, we cut out the central part of the dipped beam reflector.

Then we fix and adjust the lens relative to the main beam (previously noting how the ordinary low beam shone).

Next, we take the foam, which does not eat polyester, and we make such rings from it.

Then we glue ordinary women's tights taken from the wife, lover, sister, mother, friend of a friend to these rings :)

And we put it all on the lens

Then, we coat the pantyhose with 2 layers of polyester, let it dry a little, put it into small pieces of glass mat and put it on top of the pantyhose, then we coat it all again and leave it to dry.

After drying, we direct the marafet with putty.

Painted in black matte.
And in the end we get.

We assemble headlights, put xen d2s, and enjoy life :)
