Racing weekend — logbook Toyota Sprinter Trueno, 1998

Last weekend my drone and I participated in 2 racing events in our region, first we participated in the closing of the 2010 drag season and took part in the qualifying races for the rally sprint race on October 9th. And now in more detail:

I was never drawn to the drag, so I never showed anything in it, simply because I never participated. But then I decided to try, not to lose a cow))) Having looked at my rubber, it became clear that I couldn’t count on much, nevertheless, she endured so much on the red ring and it was a pity to even warm her last 2mm of tread, but the application had already been submitted, must go. In qualifying, on the first attempt and with axle box almost the entire first gear (I'm not happy with myself), I managed to show 15.78s, which was enough to be 2 in my class, losing a little more than a second to a well-prepared 9ke. I don’t even want to remember about the races themselves, I was terribly stupid at the traffic light, as a result, 3rd place;)

The next day there were qualifying races in the sprint rally, here it is already more interesting, still the ring, albeit an unpaved one. Arriving there, they tell me that there are already 9 competitors in the class and the most evil one is a starlet with a 3sge swapped there and at the same time everyone is also on rally tires, well, I think it doesn’t matter, we will take skill and experience, which was practically absent on this track) )) There were 4 cars qualifying, I intended to get into the top three, not for nothing that I went there. And so it happened, 2nd place in the qualification, and then I managed to mess up and not turn on the second speed (((
