Article in 4on4 — logbook Toyota FJ Cruiser, 2008
Yesterday, looking through the 4v4 magazine, the club found an article about FJ. Since such articles are very rare, almost never, I decided to buy and read. The article was written by a real jeeper, and, therefore, I make an amendment to this. The man did not understand the car at all and wrote all sorts of nonsense. Apparently if you have a stomach, you drink beer every evening, or even a vodka, you gather the same friends for the weekend and go to the forest to knead clay (literally and figuratively), then the FJ machine is not for you. In general, by and large, the car was not accepted at all in Russia. It is not clear why they accepted it in Ukraine. There are really a lot of them and everyone is happy, even with beer and belly. On the contrary, they buy a faceless Prado 120 with a kitsch, tasteless interior from us.
I'm talking about the fact that if you don't understand the picture / music, you don't have to write nonsense.
Alas, we really don’t have many FJs in Russia (perhaps some were scared away by the fact that official dealers are not selling), although the car is excellent in every respect!
FJ is, in my opinion, more attractive than H3, which are quite common! I also do not understand the lack of interest in Russia! There are a lot of them in Crimea - of any color and degree of preparedness! Weird…
Agree with the whole post. Our people are tense that there is an FJ with a colored body, and "army boys" loves a completely black hundred and prado!

I was offered for my 150th new Prado "bash on bash" ... I refused. It's kind of ... cardboard, feminine. Or I don’t understand cars, although this “cartoon tractor†is already my 13th foreign car.
Simple fj is a tribute to rationality and practicality ... there is no glamor in it! why be surprised if most people buy a car because a neighbor drives one or because it is red :) In recent years, Toyota is perhaps the only SUV! I personally really like it! and not outwardly, but precisely in the approach and functionality ...
It’s just that people are stupid, having bought a prado you can brag, but having bought an FJ, you need to explain what it is and make excuses why you didn’t buy a prado ... Stupid dull stereotypes, FJ caught my eye, I was immediately impressed, and when I found out that this is an honest frame SUV, I fell in love . And people like to look up to each other and drive large cars of the same type in appearance.
