Replacing wheel bearings or the fun continues - Toyota Hilux Surf, 3.0 liter, 1994

In parallel with the oil change and repair box decided to change the rear wheel bearings. Moreover, everything that is needed a hedgehog two weeks ago arrived and is in the garage. True, the bearings arrived not Japanese, but English, but they seem to be normal in appearance. The bearings were disassembled and filled with grease.
On one side, after an hour of sex with a system of breeding / mixing pads, he removed the drum and axle shaft. It would be better to shoot it in the old fashioned way with a hammer, it would come out faster. I cut off the ring and with difficulty knocked out the bearing, hollowed out the axle shaft with the brake shield on a large steel plate, I think half of the district heard me knocking out the bearing.
With the second side, everything turned out to be much more fun. I suffered for about an hour with the pad breeding system and, as a result, the drum completely jammed. As it turned out, or I broke or were broken, a few teeth of the bolt that brings and spreads the pads. In order to somehow make it more convenient to work, I partially removed the handbrake cable, which made it possible to stretch the p / axle a little, I could not remove the last part of the cable. I don't understand how it all works there. I couldn't get the drum off. I don’t know what to do yet, of course you can just cut the bolt to the edge, but a new one costs 700r and it will take 2 weeks to carry it. Now I'm thinking what to do. At the moment I'm thinking of trying to cut a new thread with a dremel through the hole. But the problem is that the bolt spins a little and it just wedges tightly when you rotate it in the direction of bringing the pads together. This is such fucking fun.

Various goodies. Anyone who has used NSK products, please respond.

The knocked-out axle shaft bearing still sticks out in the brake shield. But he didn't have long.

Koga removed one p / axle, fresh oil gushed out of the stocking of the bridge, apparently poured it when the oil was changed.

There's that damn hole on the back of the brake shield. Its length is no more than a couple of centimeters, through it the pads are reduced and divorced.

That's how much we managed to push the axle shaft, then the handbrake cable interferes.

Damn... I didn’t dare, I noticed the pads on the new Ford, and then the drums too... I gave the money and told the guys to poke around... It would be better if I did it myself, they broke the hood sensor on the signaling (HOW ?!) and broke off one wheel stud, moreover I discovered this when they put a new one in my glove compartment! (in a week...). Strongly hemorrhagic?

Tryndets freaks. I try not to get involved with the services, or if I'm too lazy and the procedure itself is fine, and of course everything is done under my supervision. Otherwise, they go through the forest.
You know, in this case, I created a problem for myself, because. There is no Kama Sutra from Surfi and you have to figure everything out along the way of the play. If I knew that there was a fuse that needed to be wrung out, then I would have dismantled the first side in 10 minutes, and if I knew where to turn (I could have looked at the removed side, but I was too tired and I wanted to finish it faster) then I would not jam the second. The book should be brought from the former owner after tomorrow. We are still in contact with him. So if you slowly and intelligently approach the issue of repair, there is nothing complicated. How much I talked with the services I noticed that 90% of those working there know and know how to do not much more than me, and they can only cope with typical tasks, and even that is not always good. We have so often and can not change the oil without messing up. They didn’t screw the plug in the bridge to my friend, but somehow they poured half a liter more into the engine for me. I’m generally silent about repairs, on the VAZ2111 they repaired the biting gas cable for 1500r while changing a bunch of sensors (another 1000r) and were able to fix the problem (bite with a plastic cutter that wedged the throttle cable) for the third time when I brought them a car on a trailer. After that, I try to do everything on my own, just after reading or talking with knowledgeable people.

Last time he did that. I changed this bearing about which I wrote in this post)))) So there is no need to buy NSK put TOYO, let's see how much it departs

The bearing may not be knocked out. It is enough to disassemble the separation. Roll the balls into one half and pull out one oh from there. Then cut the bushing and inner race.
